you really should be jumping-not dodging-most of Radahn's attacks, as you get 60 s on your lower half (which is above the hitbox of the attacks) vs the normal 24-26 s when rolling, you use less stamina jumping than you do rolling, you avoid getting covered in poison/rot/whatever you're standing in, and you can follow it up immediately with an R2 jumping attack with poise damages like mad really, you should be jumping-not dodging seriously

A shame I didn't get around to using the Claymore during my recent Greatswords-only run. Greatswords in general are a lot of fun though so no harm done.

So ng+7 with nothing equipped sounds pretty much imposible for the dlc. Those dudes hit so hard, so even if up upgrade the first weapon you find, it'll be a no hit run. till you get the gaol dude set.
